Artist’s Statement: One good thing about the past year is time itself. Time to experiment and push the boundaries with my woodturning. Striving to refine my pieces even more, working with dyed epoxies on pieces of wood that were previously only good for the woodstove.
Also with the wildlife photography experimenting with what I call the painterly effect which makes the images look almost like three D and so vivid that the creatures look like they could jump off the paper.
This “time” has allowed idea’s to spark new ideas which create other ideas and on it goes and it’s incredibly exciting as things unfold.
